Step 1. Cleanse

Remove any make up you have applied with a good make up remover. Wash your face,neck and ears with a good facial cleanser

Step 2. Exfoliate

Use a nice facial scrub it can be homemade or is easily available in any beauty shop. Use circular hand moments and concentrate more on your problem areas the areas which tend to become more greasy

Step 3. Steam

Many ways to steam but the best is use a clothing steamer and put a towel over your head adjust according to heat. Steam should be done careful preventing burns

Step 4. Mask

For oily skin you can use a clay mask for dry skin use a hydrating gel or cream mask keep the mask for 15 20 mins

Step 5. Moisturize

Finally you should use a good moisturizer which should be oil free if you have oily skin. Use a sunblock if you are stepping out!

Face Masks Made with Eggs

Eggs can be moisturizing and soothing this face mask can be prepared in 2 minutes. All you need is 2 eggs you need to separate the yolk from the white and 2 tablespoons of yogurt. Mix both these 2 ingredients and apply to face.  Leave on face for a few minutes then rinse face in warm. Water followed by a warm washcloth. This will give your skin total moisture and sooth it. Pumpkins can also be used in facial masks all fruits have some benefits pumpkins can brighten skin, calm breakout, and soften the appearance of fine lines. Take half a cup pumpkin and puree the fresh pumpkin into a thick paste. Add 2 eggs which acts like a binding agent. You can add 2 tablespoon almond milk for dry or combination skin. You can use honey for dry skin. But if you have oily skin you can use vinegar or cranberry juice. This will brighten your skin in 15-20 mins.

Home Made Facial Masks

Skin care can be simply and easily done at home. Why pay for a face mask when you can simply make one at home with very simple ingredients. If you have oily skin a face mask will clear away all your open pores and remove dirt and hence will prevent break out. Clay mask are soothing and healing to skin. Clay comes in powder form you can add rose water for oily skin, milk for combination skin and jojoba oil for dry skin. Basic fullers earth can be used but if your skin is extra sensitive you can try the french green clay. It is best to mix one part clay with two parts liquid. A bit of honey can be added. Lemon can also be added this acts like a whitening agent. Keep this mask for 15 mins rinse off with a steaming wash cloth make sure its not very hot. Essential oils can also be used.

Exfoliation is a very important part of skin care. Care should be taken when choosing a scrub. It should be gentle enough to not cause damage but it should remove all the dead cells and leave the face shiny and clean. Exfoliation removes the top dry layer of the skin to reveal the new and clear bottom layer. Over exfoliation should be avoided as it causes more damage then good. Very harsh scrubs containing huge particles can damage the skin. A scrub with fine granules should be selected as it will be gentle to the skin. Natural scrubs can be made at home easily using crushed almonds and milk which can be easily used and has no side effects. Scrubbing gives the face a very clean and fresh look. It should not be done everyday but as and when required to get a clean and glowing skin.
